After almost a year of closure, M2B is ready to open its doors once more, however this new M2B experience, known as M2B:R, will not be quite the same as previous incarnations of the concept.

Firstly, M2B:R will have no connections with the ONM Forums, aside from those of nostalgia. M2B:R will, in the same vein as the old M2B Forums, be a separate entity and run as its own set of forums. M2B:R is being designed to capture the spirit of the old M2B threads, primarily those on the old ONM Forums. Expect to see familiar layouts and sub-forums, but all with an M2B twist.

Another big change is the change of focus. The original M2B threads were very much centred around the characters of Paper Mario and Bowser Jr, and while these will still play a nostalgic role in the new forums, M2B:R will place much more emphasis on what M2B so special – the community and its members. It will be a place for M2Buddies both new and old to come together and discuss whatever they like.

There will initially only be one real addition to the M2B format, in the form of the all new M2B Showcase Network. This will be a sub-forum in which members can post and display their various talents and works, be it art drawings or writing projects, voice acting or animations. Other members can then discuss and offer constructive criticisms or compliments regarding the works. This feature will appear amongst old favourites such as The M2B Factor and Gregory the Goat, which will be back albeit it in slightly different formats.

The forums are still in their early stages so not everything is up and running to its full potential yet, but I promised you all a July opening and I couldn't let you all down after finding out just how much support there was for an M2B revival!
